Our Community Programs

Part of the Community

With more than 150 years of serving San Jose and the surrounding communities, we have an interest in supporting and promoting the health and vitality of this area. We demonstrate this commitment through a combination of donated time, treasure and talent. Our long-term success is dependent on maintaining the health of our community, and supporting a rich network of organizations that are part of our vision for an even better tomorrow.

In 2021, we are proud to have donated $250,000 to multiple, local non-profits.

Health and Human Services

Our corporate social responsibility team continues to work together to provide support to a variety of services ranging from food banks to housing insecurity.

Just a few of these organizations include Dignity on Wheels, Second Harvest Food Bank, Martha's Kitchen, Family Supportive Housing and more. In addition, we provided $20,000 to aid the Ukraine people.

Arts & Culture

We believe that a healthy community offers a great variety of experiences and opportunities to its residents and youth. Our Corporate Social Responsibility program supports the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, City Lights Theater Company, Christmas in the Park and the Happy Hollow Park and Zoo, among many others.

Education and Youth

We recognize that the educational environment of today shapes the workforce of tomorrow. This is why we support programs to prepare and support students throughout their time in school. A key part of our focus is to promote science and technology-based learning programs (STEM) that inspire youth towards success in the fields of engineering, technology and business.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility program supports a number of youth organizations and institutions that encourage community education in these fields. These include the Schmahl Science Workshop, the San Jose Day Nursery and Reading Partners Silicon Valley.
